PREFABRICATED SECOND HAND HOUSES WITH A CARRYING GALVANIZED STEEL STRUCTURE AND FERROCONCRETE EXTERNAL WALLS.

Constructional method

It is an assembly of IPE 140 galvanized steel carrying pillars linked to plugging panels with light ferroconcrete which is approx. ten centimetres thick. The assembly is based on a jointing system with slots, pins and fixing bolts. So there are modular elements, pillars set out at regular intervals of 3,20 m and plugging panels anchored to them.

Development building (habitation), warehousing, farming and craft.

Carrying structure

There are IPE 140 galvanized steel pillars that have to be anchored to the basement of the system by means of welding or bolting. By the way, we would like to point out that the anchorage has to be made by the customer. The pillars are set out at regular intervals of 3,20 m.

The trusses are also made of galvanized iron: it is the simple type with struts (composed by connecting two beams in the shape of a C) and bars (beams in the shape of an L with following dimensions: 50 x 50 x 5).

The roof has two pitches and is formed by trusses and C-bars with following dimensions: 120 x 50 x 0,5 being 4 bars for each pitch; the bars are set out transversally on the trusses and are bolted to them at intervals of 1,05 m.

Insulation and characteristics of the external walls

The external walls are made of reinforced concrete with clay which is approx. 10 cm thick and a wire netting. At the upper board of the panel there are two iron lifting hooks. The soundproofing and heat insulation are guaranteed by the use of soundproof panels consisting of plastered carton which are approx. 1 cm thick: these are linked to stiff foam polystyrene plates being approx. 3 cm thick. The panels are stuck on the concrete walls with a special glue. The plugging walls are in total approx. 14 cm thick. From outside they look completely polished and can be given the finishing touch with any mural painting or facing of the wall. In addition there are windows, external and inner doors.

Installation

To have the house installed the customer has to provide for :

  • the basement and the relevant anchor plates

  • the roofing according to his personal requirements (all the carrying structure of the roof is delivered by the company Eurogrimaldi)

  • the inner partition walls.

The company Eurogrimaldi will provide for the disassembly of the building materials and their loading on truck.

The customer has to arrange for the transportation, the unloading and the reassembly at his expense.
